- Broken Hearts -
Broken Hearts
Coincidentally, it is all I see on my Facebook news feed. Was I too naive too see that there was more than meets the eye of a happy arm-in-arm couple; or that the world revolves on the axis of broken hearts?
I couldn't help to notice people around me, friends and friends alike, have ended their relationships, whether it was 6 months or 6 years into the relationship. And how does this effect me? I just lose a little faith in love each time I hear of a break-up. But when I do hear that some couples patch things up and make things right again, I see a little silver lining on that heavy rain cloud. I wish people would get back together again. Not for my sake, but for a hope that it is LOVE that makes the world go round, not broken hearts. Because I believe that there are many people in this world that need some love in their life. They are living in a facade of satisfaction that they don't need hope or love or friendship and they find that the further they are from it all, the easier their life would be.
But it creates a bitter sweet creature inside of them that is hidden by a twitch of a smile. They leave a trail of a sort of pungent odour, and it effects all those who follow behind, trying to chase after the innocent child, who once knew how to live/love, from within the shallow depths of the creature.
I think we all need a confidence boost. With confidence, many things are possible.
