- It just doesn't beat Max Brennas -

I can't stress how crap my photos are. Sigh. And worse yet, everyone talking about getting SLR's - taking camwhoring to a whole new level...
Anyway, went to Outback Jack's a couple weeks back, must have been a while ago, the beef was good. Better than Hogsbreath. They had the 1kg challenge which Ed just waived and shared his steak with me, which made it cheap anyway. Elvin had the kilo to himself, being the big eater he is... that's stellar!

And see that bowl of STEAMED vegetables? They were horrible; what a way to kill the 1kg challenge!

Since we were in Freo, we decided to drop by San Churro's; a chocolateria.. er, chocolate cafe? We just had the hot chocolate and skipped out on the fondue with weird shape pastries. Despite it's nice atmosphere, I knew the hot chocolate wasn't anywhere near as good as Max Brennas. San Churro's hot chocolate was the same as the powered stuff you get at Woolies - Cadbury's Hot Chocolate for a little quality. Two or three tablespoons of powered chocolate in hot milk and there you have, a normal hot chocolate...

But MAX BRENNAS is SOMETHING ELSE - not only does it bring a whole new meaning to hot chocolate, it is indeed a 'hot' 'chocolate'. Textured so silky and thick, the warm chocolate travels smoothly down your throat. Your body really does feel the chocolate running through you body, the sugar emitting a sort of velvety pleasure. However be warned that a mug-full of Max Brennas hot chocolate takes its toll as the satisfaction wears you out completely, leaving you with this feeling that I had: I'LL NEVER HAVE A HOT CHOCOLATE THIS GOOD.

So you could see how unamused I was with San Churro's. But hey - it's Perth. It doesn't get any better.

A good night in all, and boy my photo's suck!

I have more photos to upload - Asia Cocktail and Swan Valley. I can't believe I went to Cocktail and had a fucking good time! A good night is when you make it a good night. None of this bullshit reverse psychology, and no expectations. Just go with the right attitude and make it a good night. I left very satisfied. =)

I'm going to start my religion phase - Shaun's got me started with some reading and some talks recorded by a monk... it's all so wise and insightful.
